St. LOUIS BRICK

Wood Inlay Salvaged Brick in Herringbone pattern by PortStone

The photo shown above is St. Louis in Herringbone done with a wood inlay.  Wood and Brick inlaid floors are becoming very popular and PortStone is the perfect product to accomplish this look.  For more information on PortStone's Wood and Brick Inlay Floors, click here.

PortStone's St. Louis brick color replicates old, re-claimed brick that were used on old buildings and that still have some of the old, original mortar on them.

When using "real" used bricks for flooring many times this type of brick paver can be very irregular in thickness leaving a rough, uneven surface.  They look good, but they might not be a suitable for comfortable flooring, sometimes even presenting a tripping hazard.  But PortStone's St. Louis brick product is made so that even with the added mortar on the surface of the bricks, the finished floor surface is very level in height, with just enough added texture to give the look of old re-claimed bricks, but without the rough, sometimes dangerous uneven surface.
